A general drill would be: 110V drill should not be less than 5 amp, while a battery powered drill should be 24V. Due to the wide variety of roof system designs used for fold down camper vehicles, the general recommendations may not be required for your specific vehicle. It is recommended that the 110V or cordless drill have the extra front mounted handle to control the torque required to raise or lower the roof. Note that if your vehicle has screw-down stabilizer jacks this socket has designed as a multi-purpose tool. Use your drill to also quickly raise or lower the jacks into position. Caution::::When using the drill to raise the jacks, do not permit the jack to snap shut, it may break the socket ends or cause serious injury to the operator.
